Hear ye, hear ye! By order of the admin, Onix, you all are to read the following events/news items below and heed their words:
---There have been some changes involving the breeding/birthing season. The members know all about this change since they read the pm I sent out, riiiight? Well if you haven't I would check that out if I were you seeing how it's pretty important. As a side note, all of the current pregnancies will not be effected by this unless you want them to.

---So I finally got off my lazy bum and got the BRHQ tryouts up which can be found here and I really hope you all try out! Make new demons if you have to if you don't have one already! Madness has logic: RULES, PACKS, & OTHER GAME INFORMATION. Every step I took brought me further to the boundaries of the lands known as Del-Rey. I knew not their story, their laws, or of their hierarchy. I was totally oblivious to the fact that the lands were cursed and still my legs brought me closer until I saw a wolf clad in ivory with horns protruding from each of his sides. A deep voice spoke out to me, “Come and I will teach you the ways of our world.” and so I followed.
Ask and you shall receive: QUESTIONS, SUGGESTIONS, & ACTIVITY CHECKS. I followed him to his home. The building stood tall and intimidating against the bosom of the vista - and still I admired its beauty, silently taking in each foundation of the structure. So many questions ran through my mind that I didn’t even know where to start! One had been was he the only one? Soon my question was answered as a beautiful ebony wolf walked in our direction. She too had markings similar to my guide. Were they related?
A quest for sanity: AWAY & QUITTING. With every question finally having an answer and to my surprise it did not ease my weary mind. I had half a mind to bolt from here as far as my legs would carry my wore out body, however, my hosts were very kind and seemed to have no intention of letting me leave. But I must! I had no desire to stay in these lands where I would be swallowed up in ancient curses and madness! My host laughed when I spoke about not wanting to be thrown in with the insane. “You can’t help that, we’re all mad here.” She smiled.
Good things come to an end: POST GRAVEYARD. It was clear that my hosts - who were most humble - had no intention of letting me return from whence I came. They offered me their scrolls and ancient tablets that had information on each wolf. Gladly I accepted and read about their current doings now and from the past. I had gotten lost in their stories, and often felt my hosts watching me with great interest; as much interest that I had shown to the stories and their characters. Perhaps my stay here wouldn’t be as horrible as I had once thought.
We all start somewhere: CHARACTER CREATION. From the hall I watched as each wolf came into the lands just as I had. Each of them oblivious to the fact that things were not going to be as easy as they predicted. All of them had goals, all of them had their own kind of demons, and each of them perked my curiosity. Some that passed that border were cruel, others kind. All came, young and old…and some were even of the undead thanks to the stone.

Acceptance is key: ACCEPTED CHARACTERS. How had they become so lucky? From the hall I watched as a meeting went on in the pack and they all said nothing to the newcomer, feeling that it was their leaders job. The new wolf was welcomed and treated as a family. Elementals started a fire and they all sat by the glowing embers after the fire had died hours ago just talking of stuff and things that held no real importance other than to entertain. Sirens came and sang the pack tales of old and it warmed my heart. Such hospitality was rare to find.

Rivers will run red: DEAD & UNWANTED CHARACTERS. Not all who die could be brought back. I watched as many tears flowed from lovers eyes, I watched as pups said their final farewell to their deceased parents or friends. There was nothing we could do - my hosts and I, to stop their heart gripping depression as time slowly healed the wounds of their hearts. If you could have seen them, your tears would have flowed as well.

Stories all untold: DIARY’S. All of the wolves here are interesting, I must admit, and though my humble hosts had much information to give me about them there was more than I could ever read. Some of the characters here were more willing to share their stories and of course I could not let them fall on deaf ears. I listened, I continued to read what the fair Guardians had to offer and I learned much from them. Perhaps you can as well?

Upper Del Rey -
The Shadow Stalkers: TERRITORY. My hostess told me of this pack. “The Stalkers are not to be trusted.” She spoke as if she hated them over anything else. She had told me how they killed for the joy of it and cared for none other than their own. I was appalled. Leaders: Lucifer & Dreamer
Malg Swamp: LONERS. On one of my ventures from the hall I had come across a foul land. The gnarled trees cast haunting shadows that not only hid me from the world but lurking eyes that gave me just cause to be paranoid. I gazed through the vacant eye-like windows that formed between white trunks of decaying trees and discovered the source of the offending scent that was so putrid I held my breath when chance allowed it. Water that could be a perfect example of black, the surface thick with green fungus or algae and other bacteria was the source. I dared not to drink the fetid liquid. Predators lurked at the precipitous brink of a black and lurid tarn that lay in unruffled luster by the dwellers, and they watched; they waited, using the thick fog as a shield. Let me make it out alive.
The Nile: LONERS. Ah, now this was relaxing. I sat along the shores and watched as the animals came to drink; they ranged from hippo’s to gazelle and it was as if the river was a place of neutrality where everyone got along. The water was green due to the depth and so refreshing to the taste! Though the banks did not provide the adequate amount of shade - due to a shortage of trees, I still found myself cool and not overbore with the heat. The grasses of nearby brush provided feed for the grazing animals and though I thought this a peaceful place my opinion was quick to change as one of the young gazelle was snatched by a lurking croc. I was quick to get up and run in the opposite direction like the rest of the animals that were close to the cold waters.
Tyrsis Desert: LONERS. Was death really going to come to me after all this time? The sun bore down on me as if it was sucking the very life from my body! I panted and begged for shade and found that it just wasted my time. How I didn’t get lost was an amazement since all I could see was sand and dunes. No specific markings, no special trees - in fact I didn’t see anything taller than a shrub. It was hopeless. Can you imagine how glad I was when that horrid sun finally set and was replaced by the colder rays of the moon? I had learned the hard way that you should travel this unforgivable land during the nocturnal hours. Another lesson came to me that night; just because it was cooler didn’t mean it was safer. I had to avoid many of the bats and the darkness made getting lost a high possibility.
Blackridge Headquarters: TERRITORY. My paws came out from under me, I felt that this was finally my end, however, I had gotten lucky and just landed on the ledge below me. What had gone through my mind to make me climb this cliff, I had no recall. Perhaps the insanity of the natives had finally cursed me as well. Alas, I finally reached the top and that is when the disappointment hit. Was this hell? The ground was cracked and looked like many serpents. When I took a step forward dust gathered around my paws and continued that way. If the scenery wasn’t enough to scare me away, the beasts that lived here did the trick. They were horrible! I had heard the story from my hosts but didn’t believe it to be true. This was the home of the dead. It was a trick for me to get down, getting up had been so easy! But with haste I completed my task and quickly fled those lands. Leaders: Jaerer

Lower Del Rey -
The Deviled Dwellings: TERRITORY. My host told me of these lands and by far they are my favorite. The wolves are caring and are actually against bloodshed though if the need arose they would most certain do it to defend their family. They bring warmth to my heart. Leaders: Lucius Vorenus & Xyria
Duln Forest: LONERS. The stillness does give one the impression that they need to watch their back but the further I traveled into this thickly wooded terrain I couldn’t help but to allow ease to flow through me with each step. There is a beaten down old path that is the safest way to go and through my travel I found an abundance of prey that would keep any wolf or other animal fed for a very long time. As night settled I found that the stillness washed away the serenity in me. This was not a place to let your children play after hours. Predators lurked due to the profuse prey and who knew, perhaps I could be on the menu. Now each step I took was with caution, I knew not of the creatures whose eyes beamed out from the shadows and watched me and possibly licked their lips at the easy picking.
The Rock Spur: LONERS. Soon I found myself in another place where there was more sand than dirt. Desert grass was the only flora you would find here unless you were willing to count the moss covered branches that you could occasionally find. Must have been back from when the lands were prosperous with trees. I found that the most popular thing in this dusty place were rocks. Some were small and stung the pads of your paws while others were large and were the hidden entrances to underground caverns. Amazingly I found that the heat wasn’t as harsh as it was in that horrible desert, but it was still enough to make me pant. It took most of my keen vision to make sure I didn’t fall into the deep fissures that when looked into you could see the bodies of wolves who had not been as lucky as I. It was a shame.
Tyrsis Desert: LONERS. Upon hearing that this desert didn’t end quite when I thought it would, my spirits were low as I hesitantly entered. Just like before the terrain held nothing but sand and mounds. I came to found that this was the harshest place in Lower Del-Rey and the heat of this desert was nothing compared to that of the other. I didn’t feel like passing out and I had even managed to find small puddles here and now that were deeper than they appeared. When night fell across the lands I forgot that I was in a desert at all and what helped this further was that rain fell from the sky almost every night. The only thing that displeased me was that there was no shelter for miles back the way I came.
Skiazo: TERRITORY. What I heard of these wolves was not much due to the fact that they were recently formed though what I did hear was that their lands were almost comparable to the lands in Deviled Dwellings. Most of the wolves were nice and understanding so many would be welcomed graciously. Leaders: Gloria
Entrance: GUARDIANS. The Guardians were very humble to show me their home - which was located in the middle of the Tyrsis desert, but it wasn’t hot at all. I remember when I first encountered the hall. The exterior of the building was made of tan bricks, much like the humans’ sphinx, and though it wasn’t tall that’s because the entrance lead underground. I could tell how dark it would be because the doorway was shrouded in shadows and gave me chills down every part of my spine. The Guardians told me how they wait for others to show up and if they could pass their tests then they will be allowed inside of their home. I was fortunate enough to not have to do this, instead they just let me in where my eyes grew wide in wonder. It was beautiful. I went into the room where the stone was kept and the room took my breath away. The floors were cold due to the grey stone, the walls were tan and held tapestries woven by the humans of old. Hieroglyphics panted the walls and I felt overwhelmed. When I looked up I saw the great plans behind the stone and not once did I come to understand what it meant. A single ray of light shone down on a pedestal in the middle of the room where the glowing purple and black stone rested. From it a thin mist came and she spoke to me. Told me her name and what I was to do with these new powers. I was intimidated by the beauty of the room and by the stone. I can see why my hosts had been so protective of her. She was powerful indeed.
